Al Haberstroh was born in Passaic, NJ and grew up a few miles away in Rutherford, NJ.  After getting a BA at St. Peter’s College Al began working in photography and graphic arts, then moved into retail marketing. He relocated to Michigan to be the marketing director for a retail chain.  Al joined Montgomery Advertising 23 years ago and is currently the President of MontAd.

 

What is your greatest extravagance?
My motorcycles. 

Who is your hero?
There are so many, if I have to pick one, I’ll say the young man who stood in front of the tanks at Tiananmen Square.

If you had to pick a different time period to live in when would it be?
The 1920’s New York or Paris

If you could have one super power what would it be?
Invulnerability.  Then I could really ride my motorcycles hard.
